‘The Celestine Prophecy’ (Celestine Prophecy #1) by James Redfield (C) Aishwary Mehta.

The story behind this photograph I felt that the image for this book should be something magical and I thought the clouds before rain would be the best option as they completely feel magical and speechless. Still not so much satisfactory shot but here it is. Maybe I’ll click a better with the paperback edition.

Quote from the book I Liked

‘Love is not something we should do to be good or to make the world a better place out of some abstract moral responsibility, or because we should give up hedonism. Connecting with energy feels like excitement, then euphoria and then love. Finding enough energy to maintain that state of love certainly help the world, but it most directly helps us. It is the most hedonistic things we can do.’ Loc. 1865

Stars – 5 Stars

Plot Summary –

The Celestine Prophecy contains secrets that are currently changing our world. Drawing on ancient wisdom, it tells you how to make connections among the events happening in your own life right now…and lets you see what is going to happen to you in the years to come!

A book that has been passed from hand to hand, from a friend to friend, since it first appeared in small bookshops across America, The Celestine Prophecy is a work that has come to light at a time when the world deeply needs to read its words. The story it tells is a gripping one of adventure and discovery, but it is also a guidebook that has the power to crystallize your perceptions of why you are where you are in life…and to direct your steps with new energy and optimism as you head into tomorrow.

My Review –

It’s hard to understand such a humongous book and even harder to review it. You don’t find these kinds of books, these books find you. Well, what is this book about? on the superficial level, its a story of an American who loved to unfold mysteries and talk about the Eastern cultures but chooses a carrier which he thought to have helped him change the people. But unfortunately, he feels unsatisfied. So he takes a vacay in his Lakehouse. One odd day, an old friend of his call him after years to meet while she’s in a country for a layover. She informs him about a mysterious artefact known by the name ‘The Manuscript’ is found in Peru which can change the whole Human race for good. But the Peruvian government and the Church don’t want such a document to go out in public. What these documents are, how do they hold the power to change the society and what does he finds on the adventure to Peru is to be read. But on a deeper level, this book is more than an adventure tale, more than a Fiction story. It’s a guidebook for a spiritual seeker on his journey. It gives you insights on how to be more conscious. The book is full of wisdom and knowledge for the ones being open to it. I’ve read this book on Kindle and have ordered a Paperback edition as well to keep it in my collection and read again and again. There’s so much in it that it can’t just be grasped in a single reading. If this had so much to offer, I can’t even think of what level the next three books will be on. I’ll surely read those as well but first I’ll have to go through it again. Highly recommended for spiritual seekers and for thriller lovers as well.

(I might even do another review when I read it for the second time in the paperback version.)

What I liked Everything.

What could’ve been better Everything was fine.

Writing StyleInsightful and otherwordly.
