‘Inner Space’ by Renji Panicker (C) Aishwary Mehta.

The story behind this photographI clicked this image showing ‘UP’, as it is said in most of the religious texts that the Heavens are somewhere up there. But this book suggests a Hypothesis called ‘Fourth Dimension Hypothesis’ which tells that the 4th Dimension is the up, these texts are referring to and to go there we must turn Inward. (To get elaborated explanation you’ve got to read the book.)

About the Book –

The lines between the worlds of science and spirituality are blurring, but not as fast as they should. This is mainly due to the fact that those who have knowledge of one, do not know enough about the other. INNER SPACE attempts to bridge the gap. The author brings to these pages his background in science, combined with a strong experimental focus on spirituality over many years. He documents his own breakthrough moments of spiritual experience. The book describes in simple layman terms various aspects of physics, biology and spirituality, and how they meet and merge in the most compelling manner. A must-read for seekers in the modern world.

My Review –

The book is a take on Spirituality and specially designed for the readers of rational minds or we can say everyone from the current generation. We as the modern people are said to have adopted an approach where if anything that doesn’t have proof need not be true. This is what I’ve been taught since my childhood as well. Therefore, the concept of Spirituality is not digestible for a lot of people. This book is made especially for those. The books explain spirituality and Hindu philosophies with a vibrant and logical explanation and at some places leaves the explanation as a Hypothesis, giving the reader a choice whether to go in favour of it or simply disregard it. I, personally have faith in spirituality and tries to learn and experience more of it. Still, at places, I lose faith or even questions the journey itself. But this book, make sure that every reader who goes completely through this book won’t ever be the same as he was before reading it. It does not gives you the faith to believe in Spirituality but gives you a Hypothesis to wonder on which you can’t negate easily. That’s what made this book stand out from the rest lot of spiritual books. I, as a seeker itself, enjoyed dipping in the vastness of this topic and found at many places clearing my doubts.

What I liked The overall way the book is written.

What could’ve been better Bits and pieces felt repetitive as if making the reader forcefully stress on the same sentences again and again.

Writing Style – Explanatory.

Conclusion – Simple yet perceptive explanation for basics of Spirituality.

1st BOOK of 2020 (125th books overall)
